Frequently asked questions

image

Can I cancel an order that I haven't received yet?

Yes, if you are returning as a Consumer. To do so, please send us the return form. Please note that in the event of your withdrawal, when the products have already been sent to you, you are obligated to pay for the shipping costs.

Since when has the return time for products been counted?

The day of receiving the products is considered the day they are delivered by the courier company. Regardless of who, when, or whether the package was opened to check the product, the 14 calendar days for return start counting from that moment.

image

Who pays for the return of the products?

The Buyer, meaning you, is responsible for preparing for shipment and pay the costs of delivery to the store. However, our store will reimburse the shipping costs incurred by you when placing the order (excluding additional services).

Why should I bear the costs of returning damaged products?

The buyer bears the cost of returning the products regardless of the condition of the product they wish to return. In other cases, you may exercise the right to exchange/repair a product not in accordance with the contract, in which case we will cover the costs of shipping and delivery of a full-value product to you. Legal basis: Consumer Rights Art 43d.

What shipping costs will be refunded to me in case of returning 1 out of 2 products?

In case of returning part of your order, our store will refund the difference resulting from the shipping cost of the items that you still keep. For example:
- If you bought 2 lamps, and the shipping cost per item is 19 PLN. After adding the second lamp, it increased to 29 PLN. If you return 1 item, you will be refunded 10 PLN.
- If you bought 2 lamps, and the shipping cost for both items is 19 PLN. If you return 1 item, the store will not issue any refund.

Can the refund amount be reduced?

There is such a possibility because "The consumer is liable for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from using them in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods (...)." From our experience, this may include:
- Installing a lamp, for example, on the ceiling (leaving traces of plaster, scratches resulting from installation, etc.).
- Using a table with scratches, stains, and dirt on its surface.
- Using a chair with handprints (stains), scratches on the seat, etc.
- Returning incomplete parts (missing screws, other elements).
- Returning damaged goods due to improper packaging during transportation.

Why can't the company* issue a refund?

Every company, due to its professional nature of operation, is regarded as a structure that, like any economic entity, is subject to greater exposure to the risks of its own decisions. This applies equally to the seller (who undertakes the risks of production, inventory, promotion, etc.) as much as to the buyer, within their intended business purpose.
To maintain a balance between entrepreneurs (as opposed to consumers), one can consider the difference as:
Different purchasing purposes: Companies typically purchase for business purposes. Products may be used in service delivery, which can lead to higher-than-standard utilization.
Risk of abuse: Companies have a greater ability to influence the artificial creation of demand and utilize the product for manipulating the seller's profitability.
Order size: Companies typically place larger orders than consumers. This significantly impacts trading processes as well as logistical and warehousing operations, which, along with handling such returns, could destabilize the business.
* Not applicable to purchases for purposes unrelated to one's own profession but invoiced for a sole proprietorship.
